The controversial Norman Chisale a Presidential guard to former president Peter Mutharika granted Bail in Blantyre by the High Court Judge.

Among other conditions to be followed are that he submits his traveling documents, payment of MK1,000, 000 cash and Mk500, 000 non-cash. He has been advised to be appearing at Soche Police Station every fortnight during Wednesdays. He is also not supposed to leave Blantyre City without notifying the Officer In-Charge of the same police station. Has been warned not to meet the victim at any cost.

Norman Chisale is being charged with a case of Attempted murder a case that occurred in 2019 during the time when he shot a passing woman on the leg and the woman was treated at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital and she is currently fine.

The case will be heard in a date to be announced later. Chisale is also being charged with a case of Money Laundering and he is also on a Court Bail.
